The Octagon — Red Cornerstone by Reigi

Why we make watches

Nothing you’re proud of came for free.

Everything you are proud of was paid for in time — the training, the work, the setbacks you outlasted. A Reigi is built to hold that effort.

Pièce Unique

Pièce Unique
One of one — never repeated

The Octagon is our founder’s dream watch. This is yours: designed with you, built once from raw material.

Pièce Unique
Hand-woven 925 silver mesh seated in the octagonal dial frame of The Octagon

The signature

A dial woven from silver, strand by strand.

Sterling-silver wire, 0.4 mm thin, woven by hand into a mesh no machine produces — seated into a dial of 22 parts. It is the slowest surface we make, and the one you look at most.

The craft

Made for one

Yours before the first part is cut.

Every Reigi is built to order, for one person — that never changes. But if making it personal will make the watch carry more — the dial’s colour and finish, an engraving, a date, a story folded into the commission — say so.

The Craft

Made the hard way.

Every case, dial and hand is machined, woven, blued and finished at the atelier in Jyväskylä. The hard way, by choice: it is the only way a watch can honour hard-won things.

The Maker

The long way to Reigi.

A discipline learned in martial arts found its final shape at a watchmaker’s bench. Juho “Julli” Huikkonen — micromechanic, Finnish School of Watchmaking, 2024 — builds every Reigi today.

The story

What we hope for it

Wear it. Let it earn its marks.

This watch is meant to be worn, wound and marked by the life around it — and one day handed on, carrying the best of you with it.

Our philosophy

Commission

Begin the conversation.

Every commission starts as a message to Julli. A reservation of 50 % confirms the build — from that day, the watch taking shape on the bench is yours.

Commission

Julli replies personally — usually within a day or two.
